Microsoft Operator Connect

Operator Connect provides the operator with deeper integration into the Microsoft Teams platform to enhance and streamline the Teams Phone experience around networking, provisioning, management and reporting.

Operator Connect enables you to scale your Direct Routing services and provides a solution to onboard customers instantly, offering provisioning automation, billing and reporting, allowing them to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Microsoft Operator Connect allows end-customers to choose which operator they would like to work with for their PSTN calling, directly from the Microsoft Teams admin center. Since the list of qualified operators is displayed in each customer’s admin center, service providers and carriers that want to grow their business and stay relevant need to appear on that list. Alternatively you can trigger the sending of the lead to Microsoft directly from Live Platform. Once the lead is created, approved by Microsoft and a Live Platform OC Essentials license assigned, you can upload and manage numbers on your customer tenants. Upgrading to OC Essentials Plus or OC Pro enables the Service Portal for management of M365 tenant users. You can also perform actions such as applying Teams Calling policies to individual M365 tenant users, LifeCycle Management and adding OC SIP Connections to your SIP trunk or IP PBX.
